PM Shehbaz lays the foundation stone of road projects in Sharqpur

Sharqpur: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated several road projects in Sharqpur on Saturday, as part of the government’s efforts to improve the infrastructure and connectivity in the province.

The CM laid the foundation stone of a 22-kilometer-long dual carriageway from Sharqpur to Muridke, which will cost Rs. 2.5 billion and will be completed in 18 months. He also laid the foundation stone of a 12-kilometer-long road from Sharqpur to Kot Pindi Das, which will cost Rs. 1.2 billion and will be completed in 12 months.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said that these projects will provide better transportation facilities to the people of Sharqpur and surrounding areas, and will also boost the economic activities and development in the region. He said that the government is committed to providing quality roads and bridges to every nook and corner of the province, and has allocated a record budget of Rs. 550 billion for this purpose.

He said that the government has also initiated several mega projects in Lahore, such as the Orange Line Metro Train, the Ring Road Southern Loop, and the Lahore Safe City Project, which will transform the city into a modern metropolis. He said that these projects are being executed with transparency and speed, and are being monitored through modern technology.

He said that the government is also focusing on the education, health, agriculture, and energy sectors, and has launched various schemes and programs to uplift the living standards of the masses. He said that the government has provided free laptops, scholarships, interest-free loans, health cards, solar panels, and tractors to millions of deserving people across the province.

He said that the government has also made remarkable progress in overcoming the energy crisis, and has added thousands of megawatts of electricity to the national grid through various power projects. He said that these projects have been completed in record time and at a lower cost than previous governments.

He said that the government has also taken effective measures to curb corruption and nepotism, and has ensured merit and accountability in every department. He said that the government has set an example of good governance and public service, and has won the trust and confidence of the people.

He said that the government has also promoted harmony and brotherhood among different segments of society, and has taken steps to protect the rights and interests of minorities, women, children, and other vulnerable groups. He said that the government has also maintained law and order in the province, and has eliminated terrorism and extremism with the support of security forces and civil society.

He said that the government has also played a constructive role in strengthening the federation and improving relations with other provinces. He said that the government has also supported the federal government’s initiatives for regional peace and stability, such as CPEC, which will bring prosperity and development to Pakistan.

He said that the government has also faced various challenges and conspiracies from its opponents, who have tried to create hurdles and obstacles in its way. He said that these elements have no agenda or vision for the country, and only want to spread chaos and anarchy. He said that these elements have also failed to deliver in their own constituencies, and have neglected their own people.

He said that these elements have also resorted to negative politics and propaganda against the government, and have tried to mislead and deceive the masses. He said that these elements have also used undemocratic means and tactics to achieve their vested interests, such as staging sit-ins, filing petitions, leveling false allegations, etc.

He said that these elements have also shown disrespect to state institutions and national symbols, such as parliament, judiciary, army, flag, etc. He said that these elements have also violated the constitution and law of the land, and have challenged the sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan.

He urged the people to reject these elements in the upcoming general elections, and vote for those who have served them sincerely and honestly.
