Turkish President Erdogan Receives Guard of Honour at PM House During Pakistan Visit

High-Profile Welcome at PM House

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was accorded a guard of honour at the Prime Minister’s House on Thursday as part of his official two-day visit to Pakistan.

Upon landing at Nur Khan Airbase, he was welcomed by Pakistan’s top leadership, including President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

A formal reception took place at the PM House, where Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally welcomed President Erdogan.

During his stay, President Erdogan and PM Shehbaz Sharif will co-chair the 7th Session of the Pakistan-Turkiye High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council.

  • Signing of multiple agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to boost cooperation in trade, defense, and investment.
  • A bilateral meeting between President Erdogan and Pakistan’s top leadership, including President Zardari and PM Shehbaz Sharif.
