Pakistan Air Force Shines at RIAT 2025 with JF-17C and C-130 Awards
The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has earned global acclaim after winning prestigious awards at the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025, one of the world’s largest and most respected airshows, held annually in the United Kingdom.
This year’s event brought international attention to the JF-17C Block III, Pakistan’s advanced multi-role fighter jet, and the legendary C-130 Hercules transport aircraft — both of which received top honors from an international jury.
The PAF’s C-130 was awarded the Concours d’Elegance Trophy, which recognizes the best-presented aircraft at the show in terms of appearance and overall design. Its aesthetics, attention to detail, and spotless maintenance impressed aviation enthusiasts and professionals alike.
Meanwhile, the spotlight remained on the JF-17C Block III, which clinched the highly coveted Spirit of the Meet Trophy. The award acknowledges exceptional flying, technical innovation, and overall contribution to the spirit of the show.
The fighter jet, a product of joint collaboration between Pakistan and China, made its journey from Pakistan to the UK with uninterrupted air-to-air refueling, demonstrating both technological advancement and operational endurance.
The JF-17C, which has played a key role in Pakistan’s air defense strategy, is a symbol of indigenous capability and modern warfare proficiency. Its appearance at RIAT 2025 reaffirms Pakistan’s growing footprint in the global aviation industry.
These awards reflect the Pakistan Air Force’s commitment to excellence, discipline, and its ability to compete on a global platform among top-tier air forces from around the world.
