Five European Countries to Offer Job Opportunities for Pakistanis
In a major development for legal migration, five Northern and Eastern European countries have agreed in principle to provide job opportunities for Pakistani citizens, promoting labor mobility and formal employment pathways.
The announcement came during a six-country conference of interior ministers on illegal immigration held in Warsaw. Pakistan’s delegation was led by Mohsin Naqvi, and included representatives from Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Finland, Lithuania, and Pakistan.
During the discussions, the European nations lauded Pakistan’s efforts in curbing illegal immigration and dismantling human trafficking networks. The agreement is expected to facilitate structured migration, providing Pakistanis with legal employment while addressing labor shortages in host countries.
Officials highlighted that the initiative will strengthen bilateral relations, enhance skill development, and create opportunities for sustainable economic engagement between Pakistan and Europe.
The move marks a significant step in promoting safe and legal avenues for Pakistani workers and reflects growing collaboration on migration and labor issues between South Asia and Europe.
