Sindh Government Declares Public Holidays for Eid ul Fitr
The Sindh Government has officially announced two public holidays in observance of Eid ul Fitr, as confirmed in a notification issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department.
According to the official statement, March 20 and 21, 2026—Friday and Saturday—will be observed as public holidays across the province. The move allows government employees and the public to celebrate the festival and spend time with family and friends.
Authorities have advised citizens to plan their schedules accordingly, as most government offices, institutions, and services will remain closed during this period. Essential services are expected to operate as usual to ensure public convenience.
The announcement aligns with the nationwide observance of Eid ul Fitr, a significant religious festival marking the end of Ramadan, celebrated with prayers, feasts, and community gatherings.
