District Police Officer (DPO) Murree, Dr. Muhammad Raza Tanvir, stated that the main Ashura procession on the 10th of Muharram will commence from the central Imambargah located in Lower Bazaar. The procession is scheduled to move through Mall Road before returning to its starting point, making security and traffic management a key priority for local authorities.

To facilitate the procession and ensure the safety of participants, sections of Mall Road will remain under controlled access during designated hours. Traffic diversions and temporary restrictions are expected to be implemented, affecting both local commuters and tourists visiting Murree during the holiday period.

Officials have advised travelers heading to Murree to remain updated on traffic announcements and follow instructions issued by the police. Visitors are encouraged to use alternative routes where available and allow extra travel time to avoid inconvenience.
