Pakistan’s Top Brass and Leadership Honoured at Army Chief’s National Dinner
In a rare show of bipartisan and institutional unity, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, hosted a prestigious dinner recognizing the coordinated national efforts during Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
Full Spectrum of National Leadership in Attendance
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the presence of the country’s most senior leadership, including President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Deputy PM Ishaq Dar. Military leadership from all branches, along with governors, ministers, and major political figures, were also in attendance.
This unified platform underscored the strong civil-military ties and national solidarity required during periods of military and geopolitical confrontation.
Army Chief Salutes Joint Operational Excellence
In his keynote remarks, the COAS acknowledged the synchronized operational capabilities of the three armed forces, praising the joint leadership structure that helped deliver critical success during recent security operations.
General Munir credited this seamless coordination with enabling quick, effective responses during Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsoos—both considered pivotal in preserving national integrity.
Civil Society and Strategic Sectors Applauded
The dinner also served as a moment of recognition for Pakistan’s youth, media, scientists, engineers, and diplomats. The COAS specifically highlighted their performance as instrumental in fighting the hybrid warfare and media disinformation campaigns launched from across the border.
He described Pakistan’s media and digital community as having built an “impenetrable wall of truth,” essential for national narrative management.
Senior officials also praised the youth’s patriotic engagement on digital platforms, calling them a “national strategic asset” in the age of information warfare.
